Buffalo Wild Wings is getting into the Halloween spirit for October 2026 with a vampire-tastic new menu — and they recruited the most iconic vampire slayer of all time to reveal it.
The Fright Feast Menu
The sports bar chain has launched its limited-time Fright Feast Menu, described as a vampire-inspired lineup packed with bold, pungent flavors. Since garlic has long been a vampire's worst nightmare, Buffalo Wild Wings teamed up with Sarah Michelle Gellar — who famously played Buffy Summers on Buffy the Vampire Slayer — to put the menu to the test. Gellar filmed a campy digital spot for the chain in which she samples the garlic-loaded dishes while tracking down vampires lurking in the restaurant, who react very unfavorably to her meal of choice.
What's on the Menu
The Fright Feast lineup includes:
- Vampire Hunter Wings: tossed in Black Garlic Glaze and finished with a Spicy Garlic Drizzle, with double the garlic.
- Black Garlic Glaze Cheese Curds: white cheddar curds topped with a rich Black Garlic Glaze.
- Vampirita: a crimson Halloween cocktail made with Lunazul Blanco Tequila, triple sec, black cherry, lime sour, and fresh lime, finished with a black salt rim and a bat trinket.
Buffy Is Back on Vampire Duty
In the promotional spot, Gellar leans fully into her slayer persona, declaring that the new menu packs enough garlic flavor to keep all the bad guys away. The campaign arrives nearly 30 years after Buffy the Vampire Slayer premiered, and it follows another recent spooky-season appearance by Gellar — she reunited with her Scream 2 killer Ghostface earlier this month for an Angry Orchard ad. (Fans hoping to see her reprise Buffy in Hulu's planned revival were disappointed when the streamer passed on the pilot that had been filmed.)
Why Sarah Michelle Gellar Said 'Yes'
Gellar told PEOPLE the project was inspired in part by her 14-year-old son, who she says was thrilled about the partnership given how many Buffalo Wild Wings runs happen in their house. She called the campaign fun and kitschy and said she loved the brand's playful take on the Halloween season.
When and Where to Get It
The Fright Feast Menu is available from September 30 through November 9 at participating Buffalo Wild Wings sports bars and Buffalo Wild Wings Go locations nationwide.
